Flyer magazine sent Steve Jones (Red Bull racing fame) along to review the Extra 330LX. Mike Jorgensen from Action Air Images took the pictures from a 300L.
The 330LX is the latest lightweight hot ship from EXTRA at Dinslaken. The wings are of lighter carbon materials along with the new technology aerodynamic balance horns, giving very precise and light controls with precision stopping accuracy. The new combination of wing and ailerons gives an outstanding roll rate. The aircraft is also available with a single place canopy, taking a moment to change with one screw to remove.
